- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My experience with Insurance companies has not always been positive. Typically I need their services when I'm in a crisis of one sort or another. My experience, particularly with Christine Fleury of Encharter Insurance was very positive. She stayed in close touch with me, answered questions promptly and kept me informed of the progress of my claim. In retrospect I would have appreciated knowing how much time I had to make a decision about the damage offer from Encharter and that when a car is considered totaled the car rental benefit changes from 30 days to 5 days. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I switched to Encharter from a major MA-based insurer in July and the experience has been HORRIBLE with Encharter and their sub companies Hanover Insurance, etc. I write this poor review as I continue to await a call back from a manager as none has been available when I call, mid-day on a business day. My experience has included: - they raised my Home Owners rate several hundred dollars not even two months after writing the policy - their appraiser (who was on site) is reporting that my house is 1,150 sq/ft larger than it actually is....further, they refuse to accept public records as proof point to correct their error....and they have been reluctant to send a second appraiser (probably, because they know what he/she will find) - they have never linked my multiple policies (home, auto and personal liability umbrella) - they did not write the auto policy, though I have an email from the agent and a credit card statement indicating that I had paid for auto insurance...the state of MA sent me a letter stating that my registration for both cars had been revoked - they are billing me at a former address Definitely has not been the money savings I had anticipated and definitely is not worth my time fixing their errors.
